Naga Chilli

Good morning!

It's a wet one this morning, does that hour change mess anyone else up? It will only be a few weeks until it's light again when getting to the distillery.

We had a day of sorting stuff out yesterday, getting things put away from the weekend show and taster night. 

We then look at what needs bottling and chip our way through that. One of the first things was Naga Chilli Toffee Vodka, it still makes us laugh just how popular it is, at nearly every show someone will ask about it, you tell them it's awful, as in too hot and makes me cry, they then want to try it, thinking it's some kind of marketing speech, then very often they buy it! So we had to make more of that, which basically involves putting a dried naga chili in a bottle and filling it up with Toffee Vodka. Gloves are always used for obvious reasons!

We also made some more blood orange gin, if you saw the video you will see just how different the oranges are in colour. It's one of the reasons that every batch will be a slightly different colour, I always explain when at shows or at talks how we only use real fruit. 

Today will be more of the same, chipping our way through bottling and starting to work out what stock is needed for the weekend shows and the orders that are in the system.

Will try and go live at some point today to say hello in person too, lets see if Facebook is doing its usual and not telling anyone.
