One of those days!

Good morning!

Do you ever have one of those days, where for absolutely no reason you are out of sorts, nothing has happened to create this, but from the moment you wake up your head is all over the place and it takes you far longer to get things done and then you feel like everything is against you…well yesterday that was my day, from the moment I got up, just nothing seemed to go right.

I have always said I write the good and the not so good on here, and yesterday was one when I definitely wasn’t at my best. You feel that everything is against you and even though nothing is any different from the day before when you could take on the world you feel like everything is out of control and there is not a lot you can do about it. 

That's when it certainly helps having great people in your life because instead of saying I'm all good and pretending that you are you can simply say I’m not feeling myself today. Instead of these people saying things like what's wrong with you, or pull yourself together, which I think is the worst thing you can say to who is feeling a little off, they say things like that's totally understandable, is there anything I can do, or when the headache kicked in from the bright lights from the bloody massive snow globe directly opposite my stand they simply ask have you got some tablets, they don’t mock you or laugh at you, they show empathy and that they care. Its these simple little things that can lift you and help you through a difficult day, I was even 10 minutes late getting to Pauls to head over to Bury St Edmunds, neither of us like being late, he never said a word and still bought me breakfast, my turn today! 

By the end of the day, I was chilled, happy and relaxed. In terms of work I had a pretty good day, had a good sleep and now feel back to my usual self, ready to have a good day.

I am not writing this for sympathy, but simply because everyone has those days, regardless of how you are perceived from the outside world, just some days you are not feeling it.

I am off back to Bury St Edmunds shortly, I will be meeting up with Paul to buy him breakfast before another day of selling at the show, before heading back to a nice evening we have planned.

Right best get off and then to the breakfast meeting!
