the secret?

Wow its Wednesday already, these days are flying by..

Yesterday was just a busy day. Before you know it it is time to go home. I didn't get a chance to post things on social media, it happens sometimes. There are lots of guides to how you should run a business social media, I have never read one, I simply go by what I feel at the time. If I see something we are doing and think ooh ill share that, I take a pic or a video and simply post it. 

I was asked by a trader on Saturday what's the secret to growing your social media, they had spoken to someone else who told them to ask me. I just laughed and said there is no secret, just be you, just show what you do and how you do it, see something you like and post it, don’t overthink it, just put it out there. Something I have said many times, it's social media not sales media. If you see something in your business you like the look of, take a pic and share it. Then don’t worry about the numbers, some posts will get lots of engagement, some won’t, it just happens. Of course you get people say, this post went massive because of this and that, but no one really knows why, if they did then every post they did would be huge! Probably wasn’t the advice they wanted to hear, but that's just my opinion on it. 

So yesterday I didn’t get a chance to post much, but let's see what today brings. 

We are doing more of the same today, distilling Perry, we made some yesterday into a brandy, so not too high strength like the previous days, my word, we kept tasting it coming off the still and it was delicious. So its day two of Perry into Brandy, we are looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

We are going to have to get more molasses in, our range of rum products is definitely on the rise, one that is going very well is the Spiced Cherry Rum, we had to bottle more of that yesterday, for some reason I have not really drank that one yet so I will be taking some home to enjoy this evening I think.
