3 years and a day!

Good morning!

It's Wednesday already, thank you for the lovely comments yesterday, everyone is dealing with their own challenges on a constant basis, I am fortunate to have great people around me plus seeing nice positive comments gives you a lift. People always knock social media for being negative but there is so much good on it too.

We had a busy productive day yesterday, we potentially have another taster night confirmed for April, just waiting on the exact date. As you know I really enjoy these, as soon as its confirmed then we will let you know the details. As I have said many times, they are a fun night out and are used to raise money for great causes. The one in March (the month) is being run by the primary school PTA.

We had various bottles to do yesterday and we slowly chipped our way through it, whilst still looking at shows and events. I had a great chat with a holiday park on the Norfolk coast about how we can work together and will be visiting them next month. As I said earlier in the week its about being open to opportunities and acting on them when they present themselves.

We also moved the barrel of Whisky yesterday ready for tasting on Monday, I was asked why we have to wait, for those that don’t know, to make a Single Malt whiskey, you have to make a spirit first from malted barley then put it in an oak barrel and leave it for 3 years and 1 day, once its aged this long it can then be called and labeled a single malt whisky. So we are super excited to try it. We have no idea what the strength of it is and how much we actually have in the barrel, because when you leave it in there for a period of time, it will lose some strength and some liquid, it will evaporate through the barrel, this missing part is called the ‘angels share’. So we will all have to wait till next week to see how much we have and the strength of it.

Its half term next week so we are aiming to have the shops open most of the week and will post later today with the opening times.

I have also realised that I have forgotten to sort out the refil pouches for gin, so thats going to happen today, unless I forget again!

Right off to a meeting!

Catch you later

Ant x
