Wow, it's warm this morning, 12 degrees!
We had a very productive day yesterday, we got the refill pouches for gin online, I then went on Facebook live to let people know. It was great fun, people were asking for vodka ones on the live, so we came straight off and got those on the website too. So if you enjoy our gin or vodka and would like a refill pouch to fill your own bottle off then these are all on our website, you simply choose the flavour you would like and we will pack them off and send them out.
We have a couple of shows this weekend, Bourne farmers market on Sunday and Great Staunton on Saturday. At Great Staunton they already have a company selling gin so we will not be taking our gin, we will take everything else, we have more than enough other products, so we are going to have a play today looking at what to take and how we are going to display it.
I have to go to Wells this morning to meet with the baker, I had a great chat with him over the phone, to explain our ideas, we have absolutely no experience of produce like this in the shop/cafe so will be relying on his experience, the biggest issue will be waste, fresh produce with a very short shelf life, so we will start off very small and see how it goes. It will be a fun challenge for us all to learn from. Obviously nothing will actually go to waste, we can give it away or sell it off at cost at the end of the day, or in my case, eat it!
We are having some artwork done on the wall in the cafe, Michelle from Art of Deception also works in the cafe and is going to fill the wall, we simply said there is a blank canvas, can you fill it please. So when I am up there I will show you whats been done so far. I won’t take my sharpies with me, however tempting that is to have a little doodle myself.
