It’s Friday!!

Good morning!

Its Friday!!! Still surprisingly warm though…

So yesterday I went off to the shops, checked in at Hunstanton and then off to Wells to meet the baker. The artwork on the wall is looking fantastic and I look forward to seeing it evolving and the wall being filled up. We met with the local bakery, they are based in Fakenham, the products they produce are great and we got on straight away. We have little to no experience of this so will be guided by them. You know they are good people to work with because they didn’t come in trying to sell us everything they do, instead they chatted us through the options which they think will work in the cafe, they deliver every day so we can always have fresh produce available. It will take a couple of weeks to set everything up but we will soon have some fresh danish pastries plus some warm savory options for people to enjoy with their drinks. We will keep you updated.

We had plenty going on in the shed too, slowly bringing our stock levels up in preparation for the shows, which will soon be here in full force.

Thank you to everyone who has placed an online order, these really help us alot. The free gifts are also going out with them, either sunglasses, metal cups or beanies etc

Now today we will be getting ready for the two shows this weekend, Bourne will have our normal range of products so that's straightforward and Great Staunton will have our Vodka’s, Rum’s and others, just not Gin. Just need to work out how to actually display it on the table…as usual it will be us winging it and see how it looks!

Its been quite the week, from a very challenging Monday, to just getting up each day and putting one foot in front of the other, getting things done, but the week is ending on a more positive note.

We have another taster night booked in now for 12th of April, its in a village hall near Ely, I will share details when they start advertising it.

Lots of other little positive things on the go behind the scenes, so its a reminder that you just have to keep going.

Right off to a meeting

Catch you later

Ant x
