4 day week!

Good morning!

I hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend, thank you to everyone who visited our shops, came to the Aylesham Show and purchased online, it was a good weekend all round.

We are coming to the end of August which for our business means we have to start planning for the last quarter of the year.

It's always an interesting week after a bank holiday, it throws the usual routines out and also means we have a shorter week to get things done. 

We also have two shows this weekend, Chatsworth and Holbeach, Chatsworth starts Friday morning so the week becomes even shorter. 

The shops did well on the weekend which means a lot of planning, ordering stock etc this morning, it's a great thing though, not only for us but also for all the small suppliers that supply us. The drinks sales in Well’s are definitely on the up, coffee and cakes are very popular!

We had a conversation at the weekend about advent calendars, we will have a count up shortly of how many we can produce and then plan from there.

Many people have asked about Mulled Gin, or Bloody Mulled Gin as its known as, we will be launching this at the start of November, we always get asked why we don’t make it sooner and stock up, the answer is we can’t, the apple juice which we get from our friends at Sandringham Apple juice, gets pressed late October, so as soon as we get hold of some we will start producing it. We could use a different apple juice, however this would reduce the quality and that's not something we will do. So the short answer is yes it will be back on sale this year in its usual 1L containers.

There are several projects on the go behind the scenes, some will come off and some wont, we will update you as and when these come to fruition.
