Bloody big Fry Up!

Good morning!

IT'S FRIDAY!!    Yes we shouted that..

What a week, if you have read each day you will know it's certainly been a rollercoaster ride this week.

It's during the tough times that you learn so much, this is where the daily blog has really helped us at The Shed in the Fens (we like writing that if you hadn’t noticed!).

Friday is the day we reflect on the week and look for the progress that's been made and despite the challenges faced progress has been made. It's not been easy, but without doubt the single reason that progress has been made is because of maintaining the routines that are set in stone. These are non negotiable, they have to happen, if they don’t then not only progress wont be made but the opposite would happen. No idea what the word for opposite of progress is and actually don’t want to know anyway.

It is very easy during challenging times to fall into a victim mindset, but these routines stop that happening, they make you do what needs to be done on a daily basis whether you feel like it or not. They simply have to be done. We are very fortunate to have a great team here which picks each other up when needed. You will often hear people say be careful who you surround yourself with and that is very true. Everyone in the shed has a glass half full mentality which is certainly needed! That's something that is very hard to learn and not something that can be put on a CV, hence when employing people that is the first thing we look for.

We really appreciated the lovely comments yesterday, it's great to read how just sharing our journey helps people on theirs. As we always say, we are all on a journey and all dealing with our own stuff as best we can. Salina’s quote on yesterday morning's post was brilliant, we had never heard that before and it's very true. If you have not seen it, go back and take a look.

We have no shows this weekend so a relatively straightforward day today, and in true Fenspirits style we are going to have a Fry Up! When the world is falling down around you and there is absolute chaos you will always find us somewhere sitting in a cafe having a good old full english! Everything seems better after one, and hey you need the energy to sort stuff out, so that's today's plan!

If you ordered the Pink Gin and are going to try it this weekend, please tag us in your pictures, we are certainly going to be having a few (glasses or bottles!).

We have shows next weekend and then the following weekend is Easter and thats when time really flies so we are going to make the most of this one.

We also have a gin tasting night next Friday at the March Conservative Club, there are still tickets available, if you would like a fun night, meet some of the team and drink gin then contact them directly for tickets.

So have a great weekend, and thank you all

Off to a meeting, with coffee and then followed by a bloody massive fry up!
