Carpe diem!

Good morning!

Carpe diem - seize the day!

It's the start of a new week..

We often get asked, have you got a busy day? Have you got a busy week? At the moment we usually have to stop and think about it, and to be honest the normal response is, no idea! Now we know that probably sounds very unorganised and unprofessional but it's the truth. Until we stop and look at what needs to be done then at that moment we have no idea. Plus even if we think we know what's going to happen things come along and change it.

As we are constantly doing what needs to be done and working towards our overall plan pretty much every day and week is a busy week. So in future when asked this question we will simply answer ‘yes!’, just don’t ask what we are doing this week..

Sitting down to write this gives us a chance to think about what we have on this week, well we have a couple of small shows at the weekend so they need prepping and planning for. We published the filming we did last week, thank you for the comments and sharing these for us, it is appreciated. This did bring up what is a pink gin, if you saw the video you would of seen what a traditional pink gin is, it's very different to what people think a modern pink gin is so in true winging it in the shed in the fens we will make a small batch of a modern pink gin and if it works out ok will put out a small batch later in the week. If it turns out bloody awful then we won’t!

We are also working with our good friends at Birdhouse Brewery who are making us another batch of ‘wort’ which we will ferment and distil into more whisky, albeit will be ready in 3 years time. We have more barrels maturing which will be released next year and the year after, some very different ones, peated and not peated.

We have had some feedback on the Whisky and its very positive, for those who have a bottle, we hope you enjoy it!

So have a great day, we are off to the Monday morning meeting to make a plan

Catch you later
