Consistency

Good morning!

Another productive day yesterday in the shed in the fens. This week is all about doing the little things each day that need to be done. Nothing very exciting and we could easily put them off or try and do new things or force things to happen but things go wrong further down the road when we do this.

Consistency is everything, the daily routines, writing this blog, having the morning meeting, writing out a to do list and then working through it as best we can is what makes things happen and allows progress. Without being consistent we wouldn’t have a business, progress doesn’t happen. How many times have you seen new projects start full of noise and optimism and then die off after a short period of time. One of the issues (along with unrealistic expectations etc) is that you need to be consistent and patient with your approach and with what you are doing to then achieve the results you want. We are far from perfect at this, we have had many projects fail, some for external reasons, such as wrong time, rushed it through or others simply because we were not consistent enough in our approach and how we went about it. So its something we have to work very hard on, ha ha consistently!

People often say we are lucky, or its ok for you and yes we are lucky, we are very lucky to be doing something that we enjoy doing and producing things we are proud of, but some of the most fortuitous things that have happened to us have been in hindsight linked to how hard we have worked and how consistent we have been.

So that's the main focus this week.

We have been having a little bit of fun with making a layered shot for Easter, its early days and its work in progress. You would have seen some pictures of this and we will post more as and when we do them.

We are going to do some more filming tomorrow (Thursday) on our drinks and asked for suggestions, so far we have Rose Petal Gin and Rum Raisin. Carolina Reaper was put forward but this one will have to wait, got to build up the courage for that one. If you have a product you would like us to film let us know.

Time for that meeting with a coffee

Catch you later
