Effort!

Thank you for the lovely responses to yesterdays blog, Michelle appreciated them too.
We had some fun putting together a pink gin and had a taste test yesterday, it was delicious. We will have a play today with mixers and garnish and see what works and doesn’t. We will take some to this weekends shows, Saturday at The Secret Garden Touring Park and Sunday at Bourne Farmers Market so if you are local come along and say hi and have a taste!
The title today is effort, because we have lots of projects on the go and things that need to be done and we often get asked how do you do everything that you do? Its all about how we distribute our efforts and resources. We will give you an example.
We have always wanted to have a bar at a large festival, there is a company that operates bars at these festivals and we first contacted them over 3 years ago. Got no response, for over 3 years we sent some sort of introduction to the company, directly and in directly until finally we got an ‘in’ with them and now are in talks with them as to how we can work together. Yes this is exciting for us however we cannot simply focus on this and put all our efforts into working with them because everything else will go backwards and we will lose far more than we will gain from working with them. So we will make sure that our efforts are focused in what needs to be done here and now and then when the time comes to working on the festival bar we will be in a much better position to move that forward. There is absolutely no point in daydreaming about being at our bar at glastonbury because if we spend too much time doing that we certainly wont be doing whats required to get us there! Its good to have that massive goal which many people think is crazy and unachievable because during some of the bad days you can use this to spur you on..

Update on Matty
We keep in touch with Matty and hes doing well, some of the funds raised have been used to pay for his provisional licence to get him back on the road. He appreciated it, we have more plans in place with him.
Off to a meeting and a coffee as its freezing!
