Ready to go!

Good morning!

Its Monday morning and the start of a new week..after a wonderful weekend I am ready for it.. I have been chatting to a good friend this morning and we were discussing what makes you happy. For me its the simple things that make me the happiest. A lovely walk into town, a nice meal, chatting and laughing, things like this, so after a great weekend I am good to go, ready to face the challenges the week will bring. 

There are always challenges that come up, especially when running a small business like ours, important decisions that need to be made, but there are always opportunities too, you just don’t always see them, you definitely don't see them when you are weighed down with the weight of the world on you. So lets see what opportunities are out there this week.

We have a meeting with a baker at some point this week in our Well’s Cafe, we are looking to offer more fresh cakes and savory items etc so we will be chatting to them to see we can work together, we have no experience of this but think it will work, looking forward to meeting with them. We currently sell amazing cake slices which are very popular with a hot drink so will continue to do so. They produce breads and freshly prepared sandwiches so its something we can look at for when Wells gets busier later in the year. 

We have a small show on Saturday, at Great Staunton village hall, its on 11.30am to 2.30pm, we have never done it before so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Its near St Neots, Cambs, so if you are near this area pop along, lots of different stands, both food, drink and craft stalls.

So here’s to a good week ahead!
