Teaspoons!

Good morning!

It's Friday, another beautiful morning, listening to the birds enjoying a coffee in the daylight..

We had a good day yesterday, we finished the rum distillation, it takes three days to complete a batch, so we are fully stocked up with rum spirit, we can now use it to make the various rum products that we make. Spiced Cherry Rum is now back in stock, this is the first time we have made it since Christmas. It was very popular in the run up to Christmas so its good to have it back in stock.

I had to go out for most of yesterday. I had a meeting with a very large holiday park in North Norfolk, I had been told it was a lovely place and it really was. It was a great meeting, I will follow it up with them today via email. These things take time and I have a good feeling about it. It takes time to build up a relationship and I think there is lots of potential and opportunities, so let's see what happens.

It wasn’t that far from Wells so I called in for a flat white, it really is a delicious coffee, the coffee comes from a local company, Tropic coffee in Kings Lynn.

When I arrived back at the distillery there was a parcel waiting for me, it was a gift from Louise, a pack of teaspoons, it really made me laugh and much appreciated. I popped on live to show them and say thank you, it turned into the usual carnage, discussing my cleaning methods for cleaning the sink, I broke a screwdriver yesterday, got lots of suggestions, it was very funny, someone said I get wound up easily, not at all, its just fun on there, I thoroughly enjoy the banter. I still find it funny if anyone came on who had never seen one of our lives before expecting to see things about spirits, instead they get teaspoons and how to clean a sink!! Chaos ha ha.

So today we have to get ready for the shows this weekend, Great Staughton on Saturday, then Bourne and Hunstanton on Sunday, so there will be lots of running around and a busy weekend. The weather is still looking good.

It's also St Patrick’s day on Sunday, those that remember our hand sanitiser journey will know what a special day this is in our journey, plus Gema is Irish, so I will be out Sunday night enjoying a few pints of Guinness, I will worry about Monday morning when I wake up…If there is no blog Monday then you know I partied too hard.

Right best get to the meeting

Catch you later

Ant x
