Two more steps!

Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend.

It's Tuesday, I was going to write about my personal goals etc but have had several conversations with people recently about mindset.

Now I am no expert on it, I can only say/write my experiences and what I do and have found this helps some people.

I am definitely a glass half full guy, it doesn't matter how bad things have been, both in my actual real life and in my bonkers one in my head, I always look for a positive, just something that is good and then focus on that. It's not always easy, some days are really bad. If I wake up to one of those then that's the time I think, didn't shit the bed and that's a positive. I have never by the way, and if I ever wake up and have, then that's a bad day.... No it isn't, the positive is I woke up, a shower and bin the bedding, then get on with the day.

A daft example, but you get my point.

When something goes wrong at work, I do the same, find something that's good and focus on that and before I know it the solution to what's gone wrong comes to me.

I did an Ant Middleton mind over muscle day once, 8 hours of being physically tested, it was tough, but it was more of a mental challenge. Could you keep going, yes it hurt and when it got really bad we were asked can you take two more steps, well even when your legs are burning and you feel you can't go on, you can find the energy to take two more.. The guess what, you did two more and before we knew it we finished the task in hand.

I could write all day about this stuff but we have got things to do, another busy week ahead
