2023!

Good morning!

It's Friday, the last day of the week and the last day of the year for me. My head is a little fuzzy from last night, we had a lovely evening, nice food and some drinks, I know I’m getting old, the headache this morning told me that.

So as I sit here to write this, where do I start, it's been quite the year, I have learned so much through the ups and downs, the downs are not great at the time but you learn a lot during them, it's how you deal with them which makes all the difference. 

When I first wrote this blog back in January, I wrote it as in Fenspirits, not as me, as the year progressed I wrote it as me. Some people might think they are the same thing, but they are not, Fenspirits is its own thing, yes I am part of that but it's much more than just me, its a team of great people working together, having a go during these challenging economic times. Yes someone has to lead it, that's my role, but without the amazing people in the team it wouldn't be here now. 

I am in a very fortunate position. I have incredible people around me, both in work and my private life. Everyone is on a journey, me included and I am very grateful for the love and support I receive on a daily basis. 

Someone close to me passed away in the summer, it was a very difficult time, but again I often think about them but at the same time I think about the support I received both in the shed from the team and from my loved ones.

So this year has been a range of mixed emotions, but despite the challenges of work, there have been some shocking moments, I will reflect over the Christmas period in a good happy place because 2023 has been life changing for me in a good way. So 2024 is going to be an amazing year because we are going to make it an amazing one.

I have to say again thank you to each and every one of you for the continued support, it means everything to us.
