Warm socks!
Good morning!
Its certainly chilly today but I have come prepared and properly layered up today, I was cold all day yesterday, even got my super posh thermal socks I got for Christmas.
We did some bottling yesterday, after the distilling of Vodka the day before, we filtered it then bottled it. We filmed the process and put it out there and it has been well received. The Try our Vodka packs have been well received too. We have always been about showing what we do and then encouraging people to try it, so thats the aim of these packs. I have to say a massive thank you to everyone who shared the post on Facebook, it means a lot. When people say about supporting a small business, clicking share, or even just liking the post is a fantastic way to support one, it pushes more noise out there and you never know with the crazy algorithms who will see it and what will come out of it. Not just a sale of a product but in our case it might be someone who owns a bar or a shop and then contacts us to enquire about stocking our products. Or someone might be thinking about having their own product developed etc..
We had it this week, a previous stockist contacted us about re-ordering, so you never know what will come of it, its no coincidence when these things happen. So again, I have to say thank you.
We are going to attempt to move the barrel of whisky from where its been stored today in preparation for the tasting, its flown by since the time we tried last year's one. We again have no idea what it will taste like until we open it, but if its anything like last years we will be pleased. Hopefully everyone who ordered one last year has opened it and enjoyed it, I know I certainly did. It started a new journey for me and I often enjoy a glass of whisky at the end of the day.
So today is more of the same, doing some bottling, processing orders, filming and posting etc..
Its by doing these things everyday, putting yourself out there that things happen, often having absolutely no idea what will happen, but things always do…
