A right laugh!

Good morning!

Its Monday morning, the last week before the Christmas break..

I have to write about the quiz first, I was nervous beforehand, its been a long time since I had done one, I was happy with my preparation, when I say preparation, I mean writing the questions down, quickly going over them, checking the internet was working ok. Putting my posh shirt on, having a beer, popping the cork on the champagne and then pressing the live button..

Just before I pressed the button I had a moment thinking what on earth am I doing, I have no idea what to expect, what is going to happen, who is going to be on it, will it be fun, absolutely no idea. Then you get the first couple of minutes before people come on, all you can see is yourself sat in a Christmas shirt, wearing a £1 santa hat that's too small for your head,  its a very strange feeling..

Then people started coming on, then more and more, I was blown away with how many came on, then the banter started, the drinks started flowing and it felt just like old time. I started with acting (if you can call it that!), I had run through them early Friday morning, they seemed like a good idea at the time, but when you then look down at the next film, you have moments thinking oh no, its not such a good idea now, but its too late now, so get on with it. The comments make me laugh, the incorrect answers and the chatting amongst people is very funny, I have this weird ability, to see and watch what's going on whilst doing it, its great fun, even though I am just sat in front of my phone chatting to the screen it doesn’t feel like that.

The hour went pretty quickly, the champagne went down well and before I knew it I was playing My Way and thanking people for joining in. Again thank you, was an hour out of the week when we could forget about everything going on in the world and just have a laugh, which is exactly the point.

I then had a weekend off and had a great weekend. Sarah did Bourne Farmers market yesterday, which went very well, our last show/event of the year, thank you to everyone who came to it.

So this morning its time to get my head out of my bum and get sorted for Christmas, both workwise and personally.

We will start by getting unloaded from the show, then stock taking, internet orders are still coming in so we will get these packed off and off to Royal Mail, you can still place orders and we will pack them off straight away but we cannot guarantee pre-christmas deliveries. If you are local you can select collect from the distillery.

Right off to a meeting..

Catch you later!

Ant x
