Its wet out there!
Good morning!
It's certainly a wet one this morning..
Yesterday was all about just getting sorted from the weekend, catching our breath and seeing where we are at and what needs to be done.
First thing was packing off the internet orders and getting them out, orders are still coming in which is amazing, so thank you, we will get them packed off early each morning before the postie arrives to get them collected, every order goes on a Royal Mail 48hr tracked.
We have also been asked about gift cards/vouchers, we have these on our website, you can order a gift card, various amounts, and then you receive a voucher code which can then be redeemed at checkout.
This whole week is about getting our house in order before the break, its also a time that ideas come along for things we would like to try for next year.
We also have 2024 shows emailed to us to book for next year, we even have some in the calendar already, if you know of a show you think we should take a look at please message us and we will see if its suitable etc
Its been nearly a year since I started writing this, those who have read since day one will know, I started it again to create a new routine for me personally, to write down the good and the not so bad things that happen in the shed in the fens, to show people the ups and downs of running a business like this. I also like to write down my thoughts and ramblings, which I have found really help me personally, to get things out of my head and on here. I have also used it to kick myself up the arse by putting things out there publicly what I am doing which has meant I am accountable for getting them done, this has helped massively too. I am guilty of procrastinating on certain things and by writing them on here I have done that less and less, so that's progress for me.
So I have to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these and those who comment everyday, I get a lot out of them and its great to hear that people enjoy reading them.
