Focus

Good morning!

It's Thursday, just had to double check but it is, next week is going to be very similar with the other bank holiday.

Thanks again for those that enjoy reading these, we appreciate it, however they are a huge help for us. Writing this first thing in the morning sets us up for the day, it gives us focus. They take about 5 to 10 minutes to write, but during that time the world stops and it enables us to focus on what we need to do today. This is something that wasn’t planned when we started this, but its something we have noticed and this has enormously helped with making progress.

It is very easy to become distracted by all the noise flying around and you end up simply wasting time and not making progress. We often hear stories of people spending ages scrolling through a phone and before they know it there is not enough time to do what they need to get done. The irony isn't lost on us that most people who read this come through our social media…but the fact they stop scrolling and read this is appreciated.

So yesterday was another productive day, we sold another two tickets for Friday, so there will be 13, which has far exceeded our expectations, it will be a great night. We would have been happy with 5 people, it's not the number that counts, it's not the money, its creating something that didn’t exist before and making it a success. By success we mean a fun night for everyone involved, including ourselves. So those who are coming Friday, especially those not driving, its going to be a laugh! 

Today is very much the same as yesterday, raising stock levels, getting prepped for the weekend, sorting emails, and basically running around like a headless chicken.

It's time to get on…meeting then doing stuff!
