Routine!

Good morning!

Here we go again..another day, another morning of getting up early, getting ready for work, getting to work, taking a few pictures and posting them on my instagram story, putting the kettle on, putting some heating on, if you can call it heating, then turn the computer on to sit and write this.

That's my morning routine, some would say it's boring and repetitive, but it works for me. When it comes to making progress, or trying to make progress, I have found that the only way I make progress is to have these types of routines in place. Everyone I know who makes progress have certain routines that they follow and I take inspiration from these people, it's doing what you have to do regardless of if you want to or how you feel about doing them, you just get them done, sometimes with some huffing, that's ok, they still get done!

Yesterday was much of the same, getting things bottled and labeled and prepped for the weekend shows.

We are making the last batch of Mulled Gin today for 2023, that will be online and out at shows this weekend, its proven to be very popular again, seeing people at shows saying Mulled Gin, what on earth is that, then trying a small warm sample and loving it, its a great feeling, seeing that kind of reaction in person to something you have created gives you a buzz.

Tonight I am giving a talk which is being held in Chatteris Library. It's only £3 a ticket and all the proceeds go to the friends of Chatteris library who do all sorts of great things for the local community.  It is something different for me, usually I do a talk and tasting night, this is more of just a talk, those that know me know I can talk for hours so that won’t be a problem, if you are local to Chatteris and would like to come along please do it will be a fun evening. We are going to take a couple of products for you to try!

Then tomorrow night we will be at Aldreth Village hall doing a full on 12 sample taster evening, these end up great fun, we have to pause halfway through for food and a breather, tickets are still available here too.

Then it will be Holkahm and Wisbech shows at the weekend, weather is not looking great but as we found out last weekend, it didn’t make any difference, people still came out and supported the events, you just have to wrap up! So we are looking forward to seeing some of you at the weekend!

Right, off to a meeting in the caravan

Catch you later!

Ant x
