Tidy Up!
Good morning!
Its not as cold this morning, feels like this starts with a weather update each morning! It was bloody fresh yesterday in the shed in the fens but by the afternoon the layers came off and it was nice and warm.
We had a good day yesterday, apologies, didn’t get round to posting or going live, I was just in the zone of bottling and making, its a huge reminder for me, I really enjoy it, music on, making products up, even getting bottles in before filling off. Then waxing and labelling etc I get into a zone with this, a very peaceful one in my head and really enjoy it. Before I knew it the day was over and it was time to head off, lock up the shed and go home.
After an enjoyable evening and a decent sleep it's time to go again, it will be full on like this for a couple of months, which I really enjoy, doesn’t mean that some of the days will be harder than others, especially when you are tired and all you want is an extra hour in bed, however I wouldn’t want it any other way. That's when the power nap comes in, 15 minutes early afternoon, I haven't had one for ages, but when I am super tired, I escape to the caravan with the pups and set a timer for 15 minutes, Flo and Ralf lay on me and I have a power nap.
Yesterday we started on a large order we have for one of our retail customers, we will be doing more of the same today and it will be delivered early next week.
We have also started putting together the liquid for the ‘bloody’ baubles, for the first batch of 100 units, this will be completed today and then we can think about filling them. They will go on sale Friday evening on our website at 6pm. I have set a reminder in my phone, because I have forgotten in the past!
Advent calendars are still being ordered, which is great, we will start putting them together in a couple of weeks. So if you would like one, they are still available to order.
We will also be tidying up today in preparation for the new girl starting tomorrow, when I say new girl I mean Gema, we always do it when someone goes off on Holiday, welcome them back as if they are new, we stop short of having a leaving party before they go off though! The shed is actually not too bad, in my eyes anyway, but we will give it a going over so hopefully its not too bad tomorrow morning, I know Gema reads this, so don’t worry the shed is still in one piece, I have plenty of coffee and milk, see you tomorrow!
The Christmas show jigsaw puzzle is coming together nicely, still some things being added, I will publish a list of events we will be attending by the end of the month.
Right best get off to a meeting!
