Unprofessional!

Good morning!

Had to double check and yes its Thursday, these short weeks get very confusing especially if you like routine, they throw you out a little bit and make you feel like you don’t have enough time to do what needs to be done, but you do. 

Thank you for the comments about yesterday’s blog, it gave people an insight into whats involved in the day to day planning. Which hopefully answers some of the questions we have had in the past, especially when products have suddenly gone viral, it's not straightforward to simply make more. It's the main reason why we won’t put product online to sell unless we have actually made it, the carnage it would create both in the shed and also upset customers simply wouldn't be worth it.  

Believe it or not but in yesterday morning's meeting we even discussed, dare i say it, Christmas and what our initial plans are. We have to book Christmas shows now! Large companies will have teams of people working on that already, product lines etc We on the other hand have just a couple of us..But we will park that for now, more important things to do.

We popped on live yesterday both on Instagram and Facebook and it was great to have some fun with you. It's far more enjoyable doing live’s and talking about what's going on, products, shows and events than it is doing a video so we will be doing more of those. Keep an eye on your notifications because we will be randomly popping up!

For people that are new to following our pages, we have no idea what they will think, a lot of it, some will think how unprofessional, and yes we probably are in many respects, but we are not when it comes to making our products. We take that very seriously, but we have said it before and will say it again, that doesn’t mean we have to take ourselves seriously. It's good to laugh at yourself, the banter between the team is great fun and we never offend each other, simply harmless fun. It is way worse off camera than anything you will see on camera. 

Did you see the pictures of Ralf and Flo yesterday? They make us laugh, Flo is a proper princess, Ralf got in the sun and laid down on the bed first, she had the hump and wouldn’t even look at him. Ten minutes later we looked out and she had turfed him off and was proudly laid on it. They do love each other because eventually they both laid on it together. It's funny watching their dynamic, two very different personalities!

We are in the middle of interviews for a new member of the team, hopefully whoever is successful is aware of what they are letting themselves in for! 

Today is more of the same, we are busy building stocks, shipping orders and sorting out problems that pop up.

We only have one show this weekend, it's the Bourne Farmers market, so if you are nearby pop in and say hello, it's a great indoor market with lots of amazing small producers.
