Thank you

Firstly thank you for the fantastic response to yesterday's blog, the messages and comments were much appreciated and it was great to see it so well received.

The second thank you is to the response to the Vanilla cream liqueur, everyone who has ordered we would love to hear your feedback and how you like to drink it, whether it be a message or tag us in a picture of you serving the drink, we always love seeing these. Especially during freezing cold days, the whole team sees these and gives everyone a lift and makes what we do worthwhile.

So, the new product development yesterday…hmm that didn't go to plan, which is often the case, very rarely does a new product just nail it first time, and boy did this one do the complete opposite. We decided to make a lower strength Raspberry Liqueur that the Vanilla Cream would sit on top off…if you saw the pictures you would have seen that it simply became a mess. We still drank them down in one and it actually tasted very nice, but it's not good tasting great but looking like a very bad raspberry ripple ice cream. Even though theoretically it should have sat nicely on top of the raspberry, it clearly didn’t.

We put our thinking caps on (on top of our warm bobble hats) and will have another go today, we think we have worked out what went wrong but the proof will be in the pudding later on so watch this space, we will put some pictures out on our socials and then you can see for yourself.

Again its bloody freezing in the shed and we are awaiting parts to fix the still which hopefully arrives today and then we can give it a try tomorrow

We are also busy booking shows and events for the year ahead, our first event is a small farmers market next weekend.
